How to Cancel Udyam Registration?
Udyog aadhar registration, also known as Udyam Registration, streamlines the registration procedure for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as per the initiative by the Government of India. It endeavors to simplify the registration journey, particularly for small businesses, startups, and growing entrepreneurs.
Documents required during the udyam registration cancellation process:
- Udyam Registration Number (URN) / udyog aadhar memorandum (UAM) Number.
- Registered email or registered mobile number (which was used during udyam registration)
Steps to Cancel Udyam Registration:
Follow the simple steps to cancel your Udyam registration :
- Visit the udyam registration online portal for the cancellation process.
- Click on the “Cancel Udyam Registration” Tab.
- Enter either the udyog aadhaar Memorandum Number or the Udyam Registration Number in the correct format, the same as it appears on the udyam certificate.
- Fill out the application form with - the applicant's name, mobile number, email ID, business name, etc.
- Choose the reason for your udyam cancellation from the given options.
- Enter the verification code, and check both boxes to accept our terms and conditions.
- Click on “submit button”.
- Make a payment for your udyam cancellation application form.
- Now, one of the representatives will contact you for further process of your application.
- Once the verification is done by our executive, you’ll receive the cancellation acknowledgment in your registered email ID. The cancellation process will take 3-4 weeks.
Note : While processing of application executive will ask for OTP please share the code.

Note: Applicant name, District, State, PAN Number, & Aadhar Number can’t be updated or edited in the udyam certificate, if you want to change these details then first apply for udyam cancellation and then re-apply for new udyam registration with updated details.
